A traffic stop lead to an arrest at operator was stopped in his car at about 6pm in front of the Pumpkin Patch Preschool is located nearby on the corner of Grasmere and Kings Highway Cutoff. Arrest was Avellino, Christian (3/26/67) for: Possession of Cocaine (15 small bags) Possession with Intent to Sell Possession within 1500’ of school Weapons in a M/V (blackjack) K-9 responded to further search the vehicle and located and additional bags of Cocaine (included in total) and $600+ was seized as proceeds of admitted narcotic sales. Avellino also has an outstanding domestic violence warrant ($20,000 bond) held by Bridgeport Police. He was held on $10,000 bond.

UPDATE: UPDATE: The victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the right side and two gunshot wounds to the right arm. The victim is in critical but stable condition. 5:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man was shot at North and Wells Street and transported to St. Vincent's Hospital by private vehicle. A crime scene has been established and expect delays in the area.
UPDATE: Persons responsible detained in the 2000 block of East Main Street of Bridgeport. Police had plate number and went to their home and got them. This is why I don't post too many details on get away cars! 5:41pm--#Trumbull CT-- A man displayed a gun at patrons at the Trumbull Mall on Main Street. A second radio report says he pulled it on mall security. Police are looking for a dark blue car with a man, woman and child inside that fled towards Main Street. This report is made possible by:
4:46pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters responding to a report of a structure fire at Sports Authority at 4548 Main Street turns out to be an Anton Drive resident burning trash. This report is made possible by:
3:31pm--#Bridgeport News: First responders had their hands with traffic on Main Street at Washington Avenue this afternoon with this rollover accident.
3:41pm-- Two suspects wanted in burglary one in custody on Melville Avenue Nichols Avenue area. Two teens drove their bikes into the backyard of a house at Villa and Melville Avenue and attempted to break in. Alert neighbors called police. One in custody, police are looking for a black teen wearing a black or gray t-shirt. Trumbull K-9 assisting, tracking in the Brooklawn area now.
