His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. Bridgeport News: Break Ins Investigated

#Bridgpeort CT--Police are investigating two separate break ins.  The first is in the 800 block of Cleveland Avenue.  Overnight a window was broken to gain entry and jewelry was taken.  The second happened today in the 2100 block of Boston Avenue where a garage and basement were broken into but unknown at this time if anything was taken.   This report was made possible by:

Malloy today directed the LGBT pride flag to be flown at the Governor’s Residence in Hartford in recognition of the U.S. Supreme Court decision this morning.   “This is a historic moment, and we should recognize and celebrate its significance.  Equality, freedom, justice and liberty – all recognized by the Supreme Court in this ruling that moves our nation forward.  I am proud to fly the pride flag at the Residence today,” Governor Malloy said. Westport Swears In New Police Officer

#Westport CT--On Tuesday, June 26, 2015 the Westport Police Department swore in a new police officer. The ceremony took place Westport Town Hall at 12:00 P.M. The hiring of the officer fills vacancies created by the retirement since May 2015 and brings the department to full strength. The following individual was sworn in as Westport Police Officer: David Perez Age 41 is the Westport Police Departments newest member. Prior to his hiring by the Westport Police Department, Mr. Perez was a police officer with the West Haven Police Department from November 1999 thru January 2014 he was assigned to the Patrol Division, Street Crimes Unit and Detective Bureau during his tenure.
