#Milford CT-- UPDATE--The 2nd victim has been pulled from the water and CPR is in progress. 2nd victim was located by a fishing boat. The male victim and the canoe was located on a beach off Eveningside Drive. 2:11pm--#Milford CT--A canoe has overturned between Charles Island Silver Beach. Radio reports say the two on board were not wearing personal flotation devices. Active search in progress.
10:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a stabbing on York Street. EMS on the way.
8:44pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are assisting EMS in locating a patient who was being transported from Jane Street, jumped out of the ambulance at Barnum and Seaview Avenue.
7:38pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters on scene for a possible electrical fire from a bathroom fan at 2580 at the Camelot Apartments. Firefighters on scene reporting nothing visible from the road.
5:55pm--#Bridgeport CT #cttraffic--I-95 by exit 26 Wordin Avenue a crash in the left lane is being taken care of. It appears they have moved the crash to the left shoulder.
5:39pm--#Milford CT #cttraffic--A serious crash on the Milford Connector--Milford Pkwy n/o Rutland Road a crash with entrapment. Avoid the area.
5:14pm--#Trumbull CT--EMS on the way to Trumbull High School JV field for a 20 year old hit in the head by a line drive. Reports say the victim has significant bleeding from the head.
At about 1:00PM the Westport Police responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Saugatuck Ave. (Rt. 136) at the Railroad underpass just south of Exit 17 N/B off ramp on I95. A full size dump truck style vehicle traveling N/B on Saugatuck Ave. struck the RR underpass bridge and is currently stuck underneath the bridge and efforts are being made to dislodge the truck. Saugatuck Ave. is closed at the RR underpass and may be for some time. All traffic should avoid the area until further notice. The Accident is under investigation at this time.
9:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--Homeowner in the 400 block of Center street catches burglar at work and holds him down until police arrive. UPDATE: --They got away. Involved is the male who is now bleeding and 2 females that fled in a black sedan with CT plate # 682 YHC which comes back to a gray Accura.
9:01pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters are at 134 Klondike Street where a fire in the fireplace extended into the living room with minor damage.
