Woman Drives Off With Stranger’s Car and Children

(#Bridgeport, CT – July 18, 2013) – A city woman faces child endangerment and other charges after she drove off with someone else’s Cadillac with children in the back seat. Officer Edward McKiernan was flagged down Wednesday by a man who stated his car and young children had been taken. He stated that he had just purchased a used car that his friend drove home for him. The man stated he wanted to take the Honda for a test ride, and he left his friend with his girlfriend’s Cadillac, which had his two children inside. Officers Interrupts Robbery of 90-Year-Old Man

(Bridgeport, CT – July 18, 2013) – A 52-year-old man faces robbery and assault charges after asking a 90-year-old Milford man for a ride and then robbing him. Officer Everton Walker, a Bridgeport officer assigned to the Statewide Urban Violence Task Force, was in an unmarked car Wednesday when he pulled up on car stopped in the middle of the street on Bruce Boulevard near Radel Street, an isolated area near St. Michael’s Cemetery. Bridgeport Police Arrest City Man, Seize Two Guns, Drugs, Cash

(Bridgeport, CT – July 18, 2012) -- The State Police Gang Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant at 1020 Hancock Ave. Wednesday and seized two handguns, along with cash and drugs. Antonio Small, 21, of that address, was arrested after jumping from a third-floor porch in an effort to escape police. Members of the police Emergency Services Unit reacted immediately, grabbing Small as he hung from the exterior of the porch.  Due to their quick response, ESU members on the third- and second-floor landings were able to safely pull Small onto the second-floor porch before he fell three stories, according to Bridgeport Sgt.
