#Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 4, 2013 – A 23-year-old man was charged with home invasion in connection with an incident in which a 78-year-old man was accosted in his apartment Tuesday. Officer Michael Murcko met with the victim, who stated that he was inside his apartment at 140 Fairfield Ave. when someone knocked on the door. Two men forced their way in and bound his legs and feet. He stated that the men demanded and stole cash. Detectives Jorge Cintron and Todd Hoben responded to the scene. Based on information from the patrol division and security footage, they determined that the victim arrived home shortly before noon. The two suspected robbers arrived about five minutes later and attempted to gain entry through the security door.…
