His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

EMS Week recognizes the EMTs, paramedics, and volunteers who provide lifesaving emergency care before patients ever reach the hospital, and in Easton, this year’s recognition came with a major upgrade for those crews. The building has a long history in town and originally served as a firehouse, but it was not designed for modern emergency medical service. Over the years, EMS inherited spaces left behind from the fire department era, including a bar, dance floor, and smoking lounge, which may have fit an old social hall, but were not practical for today’s ambulance…

Two Shot In Bridgeport

Bridgeport Police responded to the 690 block of Beechwood Avenue around 1:10am after multiple ShotSpotter activations. When officers arrived, they located one victim with a gunshot wound. That victim was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by AMR. A second victim later self-transported to Bridgeport Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. No arrests have been made, and the Bridgeport Police Department is investigating. Further information will be provided once available.

Bus Has A McMishap In Milford

A viewer sent in this image of a charter bus getting a little too close to the Golden Arches at McDonald’s in Milford. No word if the driver lost control of the bus or just tried to supersize the turn, but the sign definitely got served. So far, no injuries reported, no fries scattered, and no comment from the Hamburglar.
