Police arrived to investigate. One said someone jumped out of the bushes and assualted him near Jackson and Madison Avenue. The other victim had already left the hospital when police arrived. #Bridgeport CT--Thursday, December 8, 2022, at approximately 11:30 pm Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Tremont Avenue on a report of shots fired outside of this location. Citizens in the area describe hearing a dispute followed by 4-5 gunshots. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a crime scene in the roadway along Tremont Avenue. The crime scene was secured and area hospitals were canvassed for a victim. The initial search for a victim yielded negative results. Items were collected from the crime scene and submitted as evidence into the police property room. At 2023hrs the Bridgeport ECC was notified by Bridgeport Hospital that they had a male party walk into their ER with a non-life-threatening GSW to his foot. Bridgeport News: Firefighters Rescue 3 From Fire
2022-03-18@3:18am--#Bridgeport CT-- #ctfire---Still working without a contract, the Bridgeport Firefighters braved this structure fire at 129 Wood Avenue, rescuing 3 people. Their efforts kept the fire contained to just one unit. Two adults and one child was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. A total of 6 were displaced and the Red Cross is helping with their immediate needs.
