2020-04-26@10:30pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man crashed into a number of parked cars on Stratford Avenue near Wilmont Avenue and attempted to flee but neighbors allegedly fought the man who tried to flee the scene. 2020-04-26@5:30pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a fire in the 1300 block of Iranistan Avenue (near Behanm Avenue). When firefighters arrived they had smoke showing from the front door and discovered a fire in the basement. The fire extended to the first floor but they quickly extinguished the fire. Their primary and secondary searches found no one inside the house. There was a fire in the same home a year ago but the building has been vacant since. There were no reported injuries and the fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.

2020-04-25@1:52pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman hit a wall, then her boyfriend with her red Nissan in the 200 block of Wheeler Avenue. She fled the scene but returned a short time later. The man was injured and taken to the hospital.
UPDATE: There were actually two stabbings, this one at 115 Yale Avenue with no real details. A SECOND stabbing happened at Greene Homes Building 5 and that is where the girlfriend stabbed her boyfriend on the lip and in the cheek just below the eye.
