Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In City’s One And Only Homicide of 2016

#Bridgeport Connecticut--Today, at approximately 10:00 hours, the Fugitive Task Force took Bernard Brandon (09/17/83) into custody.  Brandon was located at a residence on the westside of the City. The arrest stems from the homicide of Javoni Patton on February 11, 2016, near the intersection of Stratford Avenue / Connecticut Avenue. Brandon is charged with the following: Murder (53a-54a) Criminal Possession of a Pistol/Revolver (53a-217c) Carrying Pistol w/o Permit (29-35) Weapon in MV (29-38) Bond set at $1,000,000.00

Bridgeport News: 2 Injured After Running Into Police Cruiser

10:50pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--2 were injured after hitting a police cruiser the into a fence and tree at the intersection of Central and Williston Street.  There is not a lot of details at this hour but one tried to hop the fence and quickly nabbed and the other was found hiding in a backyard on Central Avenue.  After a trip to the hospital they will be awarded a trip to Congress Street with deluxe accommodations.   See ALL of our posts, not just what Facebook shows you!
