The Bridgeport Bluefish and All Kids Dental held a joint press conference at All Kids Dental on Wednesday, February 24 at 3:30 pm to announce their “Kids Run the Ballpark” Essay Competition. Nine children between the ages of 10-13 will be selected to shadow and assist a Bluefish employee on Saturday, April 30, when the Bluefish take on the New Britain Bees at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. This will be a one- of-a-kind opportunity for young kids to see what it takes to run a baseball team. I had a viewer send in this photo upset that the imagery of a clinched fist is supportive of what they saw at the Super Bowl Black Power by Beyonce and the "negative imagery of the past". The bill is a set of hiring policies for private employers, designed to ensure that applicants with criminal records are evaluated on the merits of their qualifications, not on their criminal records. “We have too many hard-working people trying to find jobs that are being disqualified,” said Sen.
