#Fairfield CT--First Selectman Tetreau announced that on Thursday, December 17, 2015, he joined scouts from Fairfield’s Troop 90, along with former Fire Chief Richard Felner, Matt Paules from Fairfield’s Department of Public Works and Kirstin O’Gorman, one of the scout mothers who was in charge of the Troop’s toy drive, to help deliver holiday gifts to 100 children at The Department of Children and Families (DCF) in Bridgeport. The scouts, who had set out to "do a go turn daily", which is the Troop’s slogan, collected gifts as a humanitarian scout project, allowing them to reach out to their Bridgeport neighbors and offer gifts to their most vulnerable peers. #Bridgeport CT-- Bikeport has partnered with ABCD to match children with bikes this holiday season. Over sixty five bikes were given away. Bikeport Co-op is a non-profit bicycle cooperative that specializes in giving Bridgeport youth theopportunity to enjoy bicycles. During the summer Bikeport offers an earn-a-bike program for high school youth enrolled in the BuildOn program and hosts group bike rides which explore Bridgeport. Bikeport sells affordable, quality used bicycles to raise funds for its giving programs. Bikeport’s major sponsors are Patagonia Westport and IDEAS For Us, Inc. and Resource Services, Inc. has donated 20 new bikes to the Holiday Giving Event.

9:41pm--#Bridgeport CT---#Fairfield CT-- If you are going to have a head on collision this is the type to have on Brooklawn Avenue in Fairfield/Bridgeport line. First responders moved the crash onto Hughes Avenue and Fairfield Fire and Police took the call in the rain. EMS left without patients so if you are going to have a head on collision this is the way to do it.

#Bridgeport CT--Police have arrested Derrick Williams of Bridgeport who is allegedly responsible for a home invasion on Exeter Street on November 30th. Police say he pistol whipped the homeowner and took a paintball gun and a belt.
