3:14pm--#Bridgeport CT--A 3 year old boy on Poplar Street ran out to chase a ball and was hit by a car which stopped and cooperated with police.  When I go to calls like this it is easy to get apprehensive on what the result was.  I'm happy to report the child was alert, not seriously injured and EMS from American Medical Response were showing great compassion as they always do.   As I was leaving the scene firefighters were dispersing to check on residents in the neighborhood to make sure they have a working smoke detector since they were in the neighborhood and no longer needed for the call.  If you live in Bridgeport and  need a smoke detector firefighters…

Avoid I-95 Northbound

#cttraffic--I-95 northbound has very heavy bumper to bumper traffic due to the two right lanes being closed for construction right after exit 27.  A big 3 car pile up happened as a result making the traffic even worse, those cars are being towed at 11:15pm.   I-95 southbound has the left two lanes closed in the same are around 28 but there is no back up. hacia el norte tiene paragolpes muy pesado tráfico muy intenso debido a los dos carriles de la derecha de permanecer cerrado por obras justo después de la salida 27.
