Bridgeport News: POSSIBLE Home Invasion

12:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a possible home invasion in the 800 block of Evers Street Extension. The call was dispatched as a home invasion, local towns broadcasted it as well. Nothing was taken and police think the homeowner was confused as to what he had seen. Detectives arrived as I left the scene to further investigate. Police are still looking for a white van in connection to this. Special thanks to all the police and firefighter union members working this Labor Day Weekend keeping us safe!

1:31am--#Bridgeport CT #Trumbull CT-- Trumbull Police reported hearing shots fired possibly on Madison Avenue and then Bridgeport Police receive calls on shots fired on Old Town Road near Campbell Road. No reports of anyone or anything hit. It might even be fireworks. Earlier, a report of shots fired on Gurdon Street, again no one or anything hit. Thanks Jays for making this report possible!
