3:03am--Bridgeport CT--Once again, police on patrol prevented a fire from becoming more than it could have been. Police told me the pungent smell of plastic and fiberglass burning alerted them to a fire that could have been much greater since the boats land docked are parked close to each other. Because I was quick on scene the police officers were also smart to challenge me at the scene since most arsonists like to see their handiwork. Firefighters were arrived when I did and had the fire quickly knocked down. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire. First on DoingItLocal.com.
