The Boys & Girls Village Work to Learn program, which provides employment experiences, life skills training and asset building to 16-20 year old at-risk youth, will be selling items they created (pictured below) and marketing their businesses Do Me A Favor and Design IQ & Print at the Stratford Main Street Festival tomorrow, 10:00am-5:00pm. Stratford News: Person Shot And Killed

UPDATE: The victim from the homicide on Saturday was Andre Petway age 27 of Bridgeport.  The investigation is still ongoing and investigators continue to follow up on leads at this time.   UPDATE: Captain Frank Eannotti of the Stratford Police Department said a 27 year old male who was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. The victim succumbed to his injuries. The victims name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. 7:30PMish-- A person was shot on Girabaldi Avenue by two males who fled in a dark colored car.  Witnesses told me they heard 4-5 shots but thought it was fireworks.

UPDATE: The boat just filled up with 200 gallons of fuel and the boat is now reportedly sinking.  DEEP (Department of Energy and Environmental Protection) and Hazmat have been requested to the scene. 12:05pm--#Stratford CT-- A boat fire in the Housatonic River.  The occupants of the boat are out of the boat.  The boat is reported to  be heading up river.  The boat is reported to be fully engulfed in flames.  A large column of smoke can be seen from I-95 traffic cameras.   This report is made possible by:

Stratford Police Need You To Help Take A Byte Out Of Crime

#Stratford CT--The Stratford Police Department is investigating the theft of computer equipment from a construction site on Barnum Ave in the area of Agresta Terrace on 04-18- 17. The suspect entered an equipment truck and stole various pieces of computer equipment. The equipment is manufactured by Trimble and is estimated to be valued at $50,000.00.
