Fairfield News: Child Hit By Car

3:05pm--#Fairfield CT--A child was struck or hit a minivan on Longfellow Road this afternoon.  The child's father was on scene and placed the child into his white van until first responders arrived.  The child's injuries were minor and the father refused medical treatment.   A house on the street has a security camera that is aimed in the direction of the accident and are reviewing the video.

Weston New: Home Robbery

12:11pm--#Weston CT--An Eleven O'Clock Road woman was robbed in her home, held down and had a watch and ring from her. Police are investigating. So far a vague description of a black male in his fifties wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and black jacket. He fled in a tan or brown vehicle. Unknown direction of travel.
