Bridgeport Police and EMS Save Baby Not Breathing

How about some likes for the first responders in Bridgeport who came to the rescue when a baby wasn't breathing. The incident took place yesterday at the corner of James and Harral Avenue around 4:30pm. Bridgeport Police Department on patrol came across a panicked mother with her child not breathing. Police officers had to determine if it was quicker to drive the baby to the hospital but the quick work of police dispatch got EMS to the scene. If you listen carefully you can hear the mother crying in despair, so officer had to take control of the scene, calm the mother and help save the baby. Bridgeport News: Body Found In Pequonnock River

UPDATE: Bridgeport Police Report:  At 4:27PM this afternoon, it was reported to the Bridgeport Police Department that a body was found in the water near the intersection of Knowlton St. and Arctic St. Shortly thereafter, the Bridgeport Fire Department retrieved the deceased from the water. According to a police press release: There was no trauma found to the body of the 33 year-old male who was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, boxers, tan belt, and a baseball cap. No cause of death has been determined at this time. The Bridgeport Police Department is actively investigating.
