Bridgeport News: Fire destroys home
6:21am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters battled a 3 alarm fire at 520 Wayne Street this morning. Firefighters found the back and right side fully engulfed in flames on arrival. Firefighters immediately located all occupants, there were reports of a partial roof collapse into the second floor. There were no reported injuries. 12:20am--#Bridgeport CT--Police looking for a person wanted in a red Northface jacket for assault on Stratfield Avenue leads police on foot pursuit onto 6th Avenue towards Connecticut Avenue. The suspect ran into backyards and police are looking for him in the area.

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, veterans, veterans’ advocates and local, state and federal officials, today laid out several of his proposals aimed at combatting veterans’ homelessness and unemployment in Connecticut.
