Bridgeport News: Fire destroys home

6:21am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters battled a 3 alarm fire at 520 Wayne Street this morning.  Firefighters found the back and right side fully engulfed in flames on arrival.   Firefighters immediately located all occupants, there were reports of a partial roof collapse into the second floor.  There were no reported injuries.  Special thanks to Garth Trotto in compiling this report.  I hope they call Nutmeg Insurance Adjusters.........you don't think the insurance company is going to willingly pay for everything damaged do you?

GOVERNOR MALLOY LAYS OUT HIS PLAN TO END VETERANS’ HOMELESSNESS BY 2015

  (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, veterans, veterans’ advocates and local, state and federal officials, today laid out several of his proposals aimed at combatting veterans’ homelessness and unemployment in Connecticut.
