#Bridgeport, CT – Jan. 27, 2014 – A 29-year-old city man faces charges related to a domestic dispute Friday night with his estranged wife. Officer Mark Blackwell responded to the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue and spoke with a woman, who stated she was concerned about the safety of her friend. She stated that her friend had called her about two hours earlier and stated that she and her children were leaving with her estranged husband. A short time later, the victim called her grandmother pleading for help before the line disconnected. Police went to the estranged husband’s address and for 20 minutes tried, unsuccessfully, to get someone to answer the door. Others officers arrived and set up a perimeter…
11:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Numerous parked cars have been hit from the Washington Avenue, Highland Avenue all the way to Park Avenue near Vine Street. The suspect has been trying to flee the scene a number of times, finally appended at Vine Street. If you live in the area you better check your car!
9:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were in slow speed pursuit of a stolen motor vehicle on the East Side. The pursuit ended at Park and Beecher Street with one in custody.

6:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police arrested a teen with an illegal handgun after he and another teen attempted a break in on Reservoir Avenue near Edwards Street.
3:28pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman going door to door selling alternative electricity plans says she knocked on a door and a woman answered the door, took her purse and closed the door. No mention where it took place but radio reports say the officer is to go to an apartment in the 1600 block of Fairfield Avenue to see the complainant.
3:22pm--#Stratford CT--Report of a crash with injuries at Broadbridge and Booth Street.
