Bridgeport News: Kidnapping at gunpoint
10:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a kidnapping that occurred outside the Food Bazaar at 500 Sylvan Avenue. Initial reports say a man kidnapped his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint and fled onto the highway in a red 4 door Nissan Altima with New York Plates. Police know who the suspect and victim are and are investigating. 10:55pm--UPDATE--Police have the car stopped on I-95 near exit 5. The have the suspect detained and the woman is ok!
Bridgeport News: Several injured in bus crash
8:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Several people were injured when an SUV and a bus collided at the intersection of Park and Suburban Avenue. It appears that the SUV was coming out from Suburban Avenue and pulled out in front of the bus and the SUV was T-boned by the bus. A count from radio reports are that three people were transported to Saint Vincent's Hospital and seven refused medical treatment. This is preliminary information and should not be considered accurate. The intersection in both directions has been closed. 6:21pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police looking for two males after they displayed a gun and robbed a man of his cellphone in the 500 block of Atlantic Street. The suspects were wearing masks during the robbery.

1:48pm--#Fairfield CT--An intruder was scared off by the homeowner on Hillandale Road. The intruder attempted to enter through the back and ran off across the street behind other homes. UPDATE--Open house across the street and the realtor's husband goes to the wrong house is all that happened.

Fairfield News: Manhunt, Old Post Road Area
6:20pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are looking for a man in his 60's, bald with a thick white beard, white zip up sweat shirt with a camouflage or pattern to it and a woman in her 50's, red curly hair wearing a puffy coat. They are wanted for shoplifting at Bob's Store and threatened to shoot security. A gun was implied but not shown.
