Hit and run driver captured
9:01pm--#Trumbull CT--A driver who hit two cars on on Route 25 and wanted by State Police has been caught by Trumbull Police on Whitney Avenue. The driver of the car is allegedly passed out in the house right now. Troop G has a pair of silver bracelets for him!
Fire rips thorugh home in Fairfield
Video report--Fire in Fairfield Just before 5pm Friday a passerby reported to fire dispatch that there was a fire at the corner of Foggwood Road and Foggwood Circle in the Greenfield Hills section of Fairfield. A short while later a neighbor phoned confirming it was 100Foggwood Road and that all the occupants were out of the homes safely. Firefighters on arrival confirmed a heavily involved fire on the left side of the home. Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola lead the charge in the pouring rain calling in for more resources and mutual aid from surround towns to cover the town while the battled this blaze.
