BRIDGEPORT POLICE UPDATE: The victim from last night's homicide has been identified as 43 year old Lawane Toles of 286 Sherman Ave in New Haven. Anyone with information regarding his murder is urged to call 203-576-TIPS. Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Yesterday at about 21:22 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a body in the roadway at Railroad Ave near Norman Street. When they arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounce the victim dead at the scene. Detectives are working to confirm his identify.
