10:18pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was shot outside a bodega at Park and Olive Street. The man was driven to the hospital and he has gunshot wounds to his lower leg. Police have located shell casing on Park Avenue.
8:03pm--#Fairfield CT-- First responders said a helmet saved a motorcyclist from serious injury in a crash in front of 2273 Black Rock Turnpike (between Old Navy and Game Stop). You can see a large star in the windshield of the car where the motorcyclist's helmet hit. The motorcyclist complained of overall soreness and was transported to the hospital.
5:44pm--#Bridgeport CT--- Two guns have been recovered by police after a traffic stop at Park Avenue and State Street. One person is currently under arrest and a second person is being detained.

#Bridgeport News: On April 24, 2017 at 1115 hours, Bridgeport Police responded to Greene Homes, building 3 on a report of an unresponsive male infant. This infant was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital and then transferred to Yale- New Haven Hospital for advanced care. On April 25, 2017 this child passed away. On April 26, 2017, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the child and classified the death as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing and detectives continue to process evidence and interview witnesses. The victims identity will not be released due to their age.
