#Stratford Connecticut--Keith Able age 55 of Florida was arrested after robbing Webster Bank of $1200 dollars and attempting to rob the Walgreens Pharmacy. Abel was taken into custody in Milford after he crashed a stolen car he was driving. The car was stolen in South Carolina. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending for his involvement in both incidents. There were no weapons displayed and no one was hurt during the robberies. (Stratford Police Press Release)

1:09pm--#Stratford Connecticut-- The Webster Bank at 606 Barnum Avenue was also robbed by the same suspect according to radio reports. An UNCONFIRMED report from a viewer said the suspect crashed in Milford with dye all over him from the dye pack. It is believed to be the same person who robbed the Walgreens at 1606 Barnum Avenue. As soon as I get more info from Stratford Police I will let you know for sure!

Firefighter James “Doc” Branson, who recently returned from a 375 day deployment to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with the United State Marines as an advisor with Security Cooperation Team-Jordan. The Westport Fire Department celebrated his return by taking down the “Blue Star Flag” which flew at Westport Fire Headquarters during his time overseas. FF Branson returned to duty with the department this week. Firefighter Branson is a Navy Corpsman. #Westport Connecticut--On 02/07/17 at approximately 1:15pm, Westport Officers responded to Staples High School, 70 North Avenue, on a report of a narcotics violation. Officers were informed that two students were using cocaine in the bathroom. Officers interviewed Cameron Cleary (18 years of age), who admitted to selling cocaine to a juvenile student and snorting it with the juvenile in the bathroom. Cleary was taken into custody and processed for the above listed charges. The suspected cocaine was seized and tested positive for cocaine. Cleary was released after posting the $1,000.00 bond and has a court date in Norwalk on 02/16/17. (Westport Police Press Release) This news report is made possible by:
