10:54pm--#Milford Connecticut-- A liquor store on New Haven Avenue near Woodmont was robbed. State Police radio said it was a strong armed (physical force used) robbery now weapon used. 12:55am--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A man shot just showed up at Bridgeport Hospital by private vehicle. The man was shot in the wrist and arm, not life threatening. He said it was a drive by at Pembroke and Jane Street. This report is made possible by:

Here is the Bridgeport Police Press Release: The Bridgeport Police Serious Crash Investigation Team was called out to investigate a pedestrian vs. motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 25 at approximately 2113 hrs in front of 202-204 Arlington St.<x-apple-data-detectors://5> Gasper Esteves, 81 of Bridgeport was outside of his parked 2003 Ford Ranger when he was struck by a vehicle described as a white SUV travelling west on Arlington St near the intersection of Madison Terrace. The striking vehicle did not stop and is actively being sought by Bridgeport Police. Mr. Esteves was transported to St Vincent’s Hospital where he was listed in critical condition with multiple injuries including a…
Westport Firefighters responded to a serious motor vehicle accident at 485 Post Rd. East shortly after midnight. The car took down a telephone pole and burst into flames. The occupant was able to escape the vehicle and was uninjured. Multiple Engine companies and the Command Car responded to the totally engulfed car fire and acted quickly to extinguish the fire and avoid the power lines and pole from becoming further involved. The Post Road was closed for hours while Fire Department secured the scene, Police investigated and the Power Company restored power. (Westport Fire Press Release)

2:11am--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport Connecticut--There will be police activity on I-95 near exit 27A and Route 8/25 exit 2 for evidence recovery. Stratford was in pursuit of a gray Hyundai responsible allegedly for robbery at the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant at 7 Woodend Road in Stratford.
