A dark colored sedan was seen fleeing the scene according to scanner. No word on the person's condition. Initial witness reports say the man was shot in the back.

On May 24, 2016, the Fairfield Police Department conducted a promotional examination for two of its officers. Sergeant Edward Greene was promoted to Lieutenant and Officer Michael Clark were promoted to Detective. Lieutenant Greene was hired in 1994 and served as a patrol officer for five years during which he trained new employees as a Field Training Officer and was selected to be a member of the Emergency Services Unit. 8:49am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Police were dispatched to The University School at 160 Holland Avenue for what the radio said was a fight/riot on the second floor. Three police cars remained on sc ene after I left the scene around 9:20am. Parents were seen running into the school with great concern on their face. An officer returned to his patrol car and just said kids will be kids.
