Lauralton Hall Dismisses Early After Pepper Spray Incident
10:27am--#Milford Connecticut--About 40 students at Lauralton Hall at 200 High Street were affected by a release of pepper spray at the all girls Catholic School. A Hazmat staging area was set up at the train station. The firefighters About 10-12 girls required treatment at Yale and Milford Hospital. The firefighters located the canister that released the pepper spray. Initial radio reports said the incident happened in the athletic complex. The school had an early dismissal as a result.
The Norwalk Police Department is currently investigating the theft of $800.00 from an elderly victim on April 4, 2016. The suspects convinced the victim to provide a debit card and pass code and subsequently removed the money from the victim’s bank account. Suspect 1 is described as black female, mid twenties to early thirties, 5’-5”, 150 lbs who was wearing black clothing. The second suspect was described as a black female, in her forties or fifties, 5’-2” with braided hair. The suspects were in dark colored vehicle, possibly a Jeep. 10:32am--UPDATE: Pepper spray was released inside a building at Laurelton Hall. 10:27am--#Milford Connecticut--Something is going on at Laurelton Hall at 200 High Street. (April 11, 2016): The Connecticut State Police K9 Unit is proud to, once again, be the first in the world for having trained a specialized K9, the first Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) dog. On April 15, 2016 the second class of K9 teams, known as computer K9 teams, or ESD dogs, will graduate. Computer K9 Teams are specially trained to locate items associated with computers and cell phones. The Connecticut State Police K9 Unit successfully trained and deployed the first Computer K9 teams into the field in 2012 when The Electronic Storage Detection dog program was started. 8:24pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A man was robbed in the 600 block of Colorado Avenue. Shots were fired, shell casings found but the victim was not hit. Bridgeport News: 2 Injured In Construction Accident
3:09pm--#Bridgeport News: Two men were injured after falling five and a half feet off scaffolding at the Crescent Crossing Apartments under construction at the intersection of Hallet and Martin Luther King Drive this afternoon. Both men were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. A representative from OSHA was quickly on scene and began investigating. In Darien this afternoon a construction worker died after falling from scaffolding at Nearwater Lane. Crescent Crossing Apartments has received a $5 million grant from the State of Connecticut to build the 93 affordable housing units.

Here is the press release from Police: Last night, at about 2330 hours, two men were shot during an alleged drug deal. According to witnesses, Brandon Thompson (DOB: 4/17/1995 of 75 Kennedy Dr) went with his friends to Iranistan Ave to meet Immanuel White (DOB: 1/31/1994 of 152 Federal St) to purchase marijuana. They met in front of 1330 Iranistan Ave and an altercation ensued resulting in both men being shot, Thompson in the chest and White in the arm. Thompson was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital by private vehicle where he was rushed to surgery. He remains in critical condition. White was taken from the scene…
