11:40pm--#Shelton CT-- Viewer Brian Cooper sent in this photo of a fire on Toas Street. Shelton's Bravest were able to contain it to the bedroom on the second floor. There was no word on any injuries.
Seymour News: Condo Fire
3:40pm--#Seymour CT-- Firefighters on scene of a large condo fire at 380 South Main Street. Radio reports said it was an attic fire that has spread through the condos. Shelton News: 2 Killed In Head On Collision
Police UPDATE: An investigation has revealed that a Mini Cooper was traveling southbound on River Rd when it crashed into a Saturn traveling northbound on River Rd. There were four occupants in the Mini Cooper and three occupants in the Saturn. There was a third non-contact vehicle involved in the crash. Police have identified the vehicle and the driver of the non-contact vehicle. 18 year old Shalymar Herrera of West Haven was pronounced deceased. 23 year old Briana Torres-Carter of Bridgeport, who was pregnant, was also pronounced deceased. Both were passengers in a Mini Cooper that was being operated by 19 year old Lawrence Carter of Bridgeport. Lawrence Carter is currently in the hospital in critical condition. Also in the Mini…

12:55pm-#Shelton CT-- First responders on the way to Walnut Tree and Waverly Road for a car stuck in flood waters and a person trapped in the car according to radio reports. When firefighters arrived they found the knee high and got the occupant out of the car. This news report is made possible by:
Route 8- Flat Tires & 1 Crash
5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Viewer Peter Tessi confirmed radio reports that there a number of people on Route 8 northbound. He said there are a number of people on the side of the road with flat tires, two with broken windshields and a crash and crash at exit 22 southbound. Peter says the delay start at exit 12 all the way up to exit 23. Take an alternative route if possible. This news report is made possible by:
