8:50pm-- #Bridgeport CT-- Multiple reports of shots fired on Iranistan Avenue near Lewis Street. Reports of a fight, two shots fired but the gun was taken away by the victims. Police are sorting this one out. Two suspects fled on foot on Iranistan Avenue, one was wearing skinny jean shorts which should be a crime on its own. This news report is made possible by 0
6:25pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man in a wheelchair was hit by a car at the corner of Park Avenue and State Street. No word on the extent of his injuries. The driver of the car remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Traffic is backed up in the area.
#Stratford CT--Roger Facey the Barnum Avenue McDonald’s Owner/Operator along with Mayor Laura Hoydick, Stratford, Councilman David Harden, Stratford, State Representative Joseph Gresko cut the ribbon officially reopening the new restaurant on Thursday. Facey said it was more than just opening a new restaurant as the Stratford High School March Band received a $2,000 check as along with other fundraising check being presented. Mayor Hoydick singled out the excellent customer service she has experienced at the restaurant and that town hall strives to match. McDonald’s Field Representative Matthew Martinez cited a number of improvements to the restaurant with a new look, self-serve kiosks and table service
