Fairfield News: Helmet Save Motorcyclist From Serious Injury
8:03pm--#Fairfield CT-- First responders said a helmet saved a motorcyclist from serious injury in a crash in front of 2273 Black Rock Turnpike (between Old Navy and Game Stop). You can see a large star in the windshield of the car where the motorcyclist's helmet hit. The motorcyclist complained of overall soreness and was transported to the hospital.

Bridgeport News: Sad News Surrounds Homicide #8
#Bridgeport News: On April 24, 2017 at 1115 hours, Bridgeport Police responded to Greene Homes, building 3 on a report of an unresponsive male infant. This infant was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital and then transferred to Yale- New Haven Hospital for advanced care. On April 25, 2017 this child passed away. On April 26, 2017, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the child and classified the death as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing and detectives continue to process evidence and interview witnesses. The victims identity will not be released due to their age. Riverfield School Carnival May 5th & 6th FAIRFIELD, CT
The Riverfield Elementary School PTA is welcoming back its Spring Carnival on Friday May 6th and Saturday May 6th. The Carnival will be held on the school property behind the building located at 1625 Mill Plain Road. The Rainbow Amusement Company is providing rides for all ages from toddlers to adults, with wristbands for unlimited rides. Along with the traditional snacks, there will be food tucks by Colony Pizza Truck, Christophe’s Crepes, Snappy Dawgs, and Paula’s Ice Cream. The carnival is one of the PTA fundraisers to support children programs, educational field trips and author visits.
