Parking During Snow Storm Stella In Bridgeport

#Bridgeport Connecticut--During the snow emergency, residents must move their cars off posted snow emergency streets. Snow emergency streets are marked with white signs with red lettering. Vehicles left on snow emergency streets or vehicles found not adhering to parking rules after the ban goes into effect will be subject to fines and towing.  Even side of the street parking for all other roadways throughout the city in order to allow snow plow drivers’ clear passage. Fairfield News: $10k in Jewelry Taken

#Fairfield Connecticut--Homeowner in the 200 block of Morehouse Highway reports a burglary. The homeowner stated sometime between 7:15am and 8:30pm  on 3/7/17, someone entered her residence through the side door. Homeowner said when she came home at 2030 hours on 3/7/17 she noticed her dog was locked in the basement which she did not do before she left the house. She assumed that one of her children may have lost their key and had to enter the house. At approximately  9:00am Sunday, she went to a cabinet where she keeps her jewelry and noticed her jewelry was missing. Westport News: Employee Arrested For Icing Customers

On February 13, 2017 the complainant of this incident responded to Westport Police Headquarters to file a Larceny complaint. The complainant reported that an employee of his was stealing from the store, Cake Box, 10 Bay Street, Westport CT. The complainant said Greg Neil had been the Manager of The Cake Box and was over charging customers who were paying cash and charging customers for items but not entering them into the register. Neil was caught on video surveillance charging customers the proper amount, but entering a smaller amount in the register.
