Groundwork Bridgeport is calling on high school students from Bridgeport to come up with a beautification project they would like to implement to help breathe new life into one of the city’s parks located in the East Side Neighborhood. #Monroe Connecticut--A single car crash on Route 111 near Spring Hill Rd around 10pm which displaced a utility pole, destroyed a lighted business sign, and disrupted power. One occupant was transported to the hospital. This marks three Saturday nights in a row where a vehicle has crashed off of the roadway in Monroe.

This would alter the current system, where the Department of Transportation (DOT), an executive branch agency, can act unilaterally under the governor’s authority to increase mass transit fares.
