UPDATE: Bridgeport Spokesperson Av Harris confirmed that a three year old girl who was found under her crib/bed on the second floor was found dead. Fire officials say Sincere Pettway, 3, died in the fire and her mother, Shaneese Pettway, 26, waere hospitalized, along with three other children -- Alaia Brandon, 1, Egypt Medina, 2, and Terrell Belle, 7, -- and Brandon's mother, Chakierah Booker, 20, to be treated for burns and smoke inhalation. 2:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police called to the Metric Bar and Grill at 39 Cannon Street for a person down because of an assault. Responsible person was wearing blue jeans, brown coat and white sneakers and was seen waving a handgun. One person has been arrested in the assault according to radio reports. 9:24pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man and a woman told police they were standing at the corner of Lewis and Park Avenue when they were shot by a car they did not describe. They were found in the yard by police not at the corner. Detectives are on scene investigating. Their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
