Orange News: Manhunt Behind School

9:44am--#Orange Connecticut-- Police were searching for a bank robbery suspect behind Racebrook School near the pond on Racebrook Road.  Orange Police apprehended the suspect just after 10:30 on Cummings Drive.  K-9 from Milford and State Police Troop I assisted in the manhunt.  Police radio reports the firearm used is missing.  The TD Bank on Amity Road was robbed just after 9am and police tracked the suspect to this area.  The school remained in a lock-in and all students were reported safe during the manhunt.   This news report is made possible by:

Bridgeport News: Bridgeport Hospital Employee Allegedly Pulls Gun On AMR

11:58pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Just before midnight Thursday night an AMR “employee” called police to report that during he had an alleged altercation with a Bridgeport Hospital employee and the employee allegedly pointed a gun to his head according to radio reports. Police remained on scene interviewing employees and witness from both the hospital and AMR. Bridgeport Hospital is owned by Yale New Haven Health. State Police Detectives Investigate Norwalk Infant Death 

#Norwalk, CT. (October 6, 2016): State Police detectives from Western District Major Crime are investigating the untimely death of an infant in Norwalk. On October 5, 2016 during the evening hours the Norwalk Police Department responded to 9 Hunters Lane in Norwalk for an unresponsive 4 month old infant. The residence was reported to be a daycare facility. The 4 month old infant was transported to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation where they were later pronounced deceased. On October 6, 2016 at approximately 10:45 a.m., at the request of the State’s Attorneys Office, Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The Office of the Chief  Medical Examiner will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the cause and manner of death. The incident…
