1:11am--#Fairfield CT--State Police received a number of 911 calls about a car being pushed off the highway and down an embankment, first thought to be around the North Benson Street area. Police quickly found the car near the on ramp northbound at exit 21. Many witnesses said it was a gray pickup truck which Fairfield Police quickly located at Grasmere and Post Road. The driver was arrested. I have no word on the condition of the other driver by a witness said they quickly had him in the ambulance taken to the hospital.

Bridgeport Police Department Makes Arrest in Homicide Case

#Bridgeport, Conn. (October 31, 2015 Press Release) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of suspects -- Mohamad Rahim (DOB: 5/30/91) of Jackson St in Ansonia and Jeremy Bratz (DOB: 4/12/90) of St. Michaels St. of Stratford -- in connection with a recent homicide.  The investigation revealed that the suspects approached Duhaney Watson at a gas station near the corner of Main St. and North Ave. at about3:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Fairfield News: Motorcyclist Injured

2:09pm--#Fairfield CT-- A motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car on Melville Avenue.  Witnesses told me the car was turning onto Melville Avenue from Old Stratfield Road striking the motorcyclist.  They said they had to chase down the driver who did stop.  They said they don't think the driver knew they hit the biker who received arm, shoulder and head injuries according to radio reports.  Police are investigating.

Bridgeport News: Will Work For Your Soul

1:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were dispatched to Gregory and Park Avenue for a man in a mask and cape with a sign saying "I'll Eat Your Soul" according to radio reports.  The sign actually read I'll Work For Your Soul" and when I arrived I found Derrick and his friends having fun with people passing by the corner store.  Thank you Derrick for a fun start to my reporting day!  The world  needs more Derricks!
