11:29am--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Avoid Route 8 southbound near exit 5 with people trapped in cars and of course injuries. Expect side roads to be a mess as well. Firefighters attempting to make it to the scene, traffic is reported to be severely backed up.

10:47pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut- A woman was just robbed at gunpoint at Read and Stratford Avenue. Police are looking for a black male wearing a white tank top over a blue shirt. He held the gun to the woman's head according to radio reports. This report is made possible by:

Police are looking for a Hispanic male about 15-16 years of age in a light blue shirt who fled down Cover Hill towards Reservoir Avenue according to radio reports. This report is made possible by:

4:50pm--#NewHaven Connecticut-- An explosion and smoke in a nail salon send firefighters to 254 Grand Street. Building and surround businesses evacuated, firefighters reporting a working fire in the business according to radio reports. This report is made possible by:
7:27pm--7/27/2016 #Fairfield Connecticut--A 68 year old man went for a walk just in Long Island Sound outside his home in the 1700 block of Fairfield Beach Road like often does before dinner. A short time later a passerby found the man face down in the shallow water and called 911. It was first thought the man had drowned but police told me he suffered a medical condition and he had passed from the condition. Police have not released his name.
