2:00pm--#Stratford Connecticut--A Dichello Distributor union replacement driver hits the overpass off exit 31 in Stratford on Broadbridge Avenue near the Gulf Station. Dichello union drivers have been on strike since May 28th but has not been getting any media reporting on the strike. The viewer that sent this in says the replacement drivers are not familiar with the route which is obvious in this crash. Police canvassed Stratford and Hollister Avenue and located shell casings and a blood trail on Logan Street. There was no word on the victims injuries or condition. A police officer can be seen in the photo "taping off" Logan Street with crimes scene tape recycled from previous crimes scenes due to city budget cuts. "As we end fiscal year 2016 and begin a new fiscal year, my administration has been unable to come to an accommodation with the various city employee labor unions that would get us to a figure of $4,000,000 in savings that is required in order to balance the budget for the coming fiscal year.
