#Milford CT--On March 12th at 8:46am Troop G-Bridgeport Troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle with New York plates for speeding on I-95 northbound at exit 35 in Milford. The lone male operator was identified as Rueben Abreu (DOB: 10/21/1969) of New York, NY. TFC Jones detected several indicators indicative of narcotics trafficking and requested consent to search the vehicle. To assist with the search, Troop G requested a narcotics detection dog from any local police departments. Officer Wells and his K-9 partner, Jagger, from the Fairfield Police Department responded to assist. A subsequent search by K-9 Jagger yielded a positive “hit” on a case containing four vacuum sealed bricks of suspected cocaine. The bricks were later weighed…

So far the only thing hit was a propane tank on Cogswell Street, firefighters on the way. No reports of anyone being hit, all hospitals have been checked.
