Westport Police Chief Dale Call’s Retirement
#Westport CT--Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe announced today that he has accepted the retirement letter of Chief of Police Dale Call effective April 1, 2016. After his official retirement date, Chief Call will remain with the Police Department in an advisory capacity until June 30, 2016 to insure a smooth, seamless and professional transition within the department. Mr. Marpe said, “It is with regret that I accept Chief Call’s retirement letter. The Town of Westport and its residents have been very fortunate that Dale’s passion, expertise and experience in law enforcement have benefitted so many throughout the years.
