5:55pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT-- I-95 is shutdown as police are trying to retrieve packages thrown out of the window during a pursuit. The pursuit started on Orange Avenue. The car being pursued crashed off exit 27.
SKY Health landed their medical transport helicopter at Booth Memorial Park this afternoon for training. There is also a presence from the Fire, EMS as well as hospital representatives from Bridgeport Hospital. Once the helicopter is on the ground there will be several training scenarios of approaching the helicopter with blades turning for Fire/EMS to practice loading a patient in the rear of the helicopter. 3:44pm--#Fairfield CT-- A school bus driver joking with the students had all the kids on board laughing except for one girl who did not know the bus driver was kidding around. The bus driver joked he was tired and play acted as if he was sleepy and yawning, all the kids laughed but one who called her mother and said the bus driver might be drunk or having a medical emergency while traveling down Reef Road. She gave a landmark of the Seagrape. Lieutenant Keith Broderick told me officers on patrol observed the bus and found nothing out of the ordinary and followed the bus, stopping it in the 1000 block of Fairfield Beach Road.
