On Saturday December 5th, 2015 at approximately 1:15 AM a Westport Officer on patrol on Post Road East initiated a motor vehicle stop after observing the vehicle cross the double yellow lines. A computer check for the operator revealed that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in Court. During the arrest, an officer located a small clear plastic bag of cocaine in a cigarette pack in the vehicle. The suspect, David Bernstein (age 28) was additionally charged with illegal possession of a narcotic. 5:55pm--#Southport CT-- A 90 year old woman placed her twice baked potato entered the time for a conventional oven instead of the microwave times and her condo at Southport Woods Drive setting the microwave on fire and filling the home with smoke.
