Fairfield News: Attempt To Run Down Animal Control Officer

5:25pm--UPDATE: Police have pulled the vehicle over at Fairfield Beach Road and Rowland Road. 5:20pm--According to radio reports a person driving a white Chevy Impala attempted to run down an Animal Control Officer at the Animal Control Office at One Rod Highway.  The woman became abusive when the officer asked for identification and attempted to run him down.  Police are just arriving on scene so the information on this report might change.  The officer did get a license plate number.   See ALL of our posts, not just what Facebook shows you! File 14-44646--Arrested:  Edwin Ortiz  10/29/92 for Larceny 4th 53a-125. Brigeport Police stopped the vehicle after Fairfield Police  broadcasted  the theft The skis taken from the Vehicle in the Southport Brewing Company  lot were recovered inside the vehicle. Only one suspect was located in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and impounded at the Fairfield Police Department. 12:02am--UPDATE: ARREST MADE:  The info I was holding back on was the description of the suspects car and the plate number.  Fairfield Police traced it back to Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport, working with Bridgeport Police made an arrest and the suspect's car had the stolen items inside their car. 10:39pm--#Fairfield CT--A number of cars were just broken into in the 2600 block of the Post…
