UPDATE: Bridgeport Police Press Release Bridgeport, Conn. (September 10, 2015) -- Today, Bridgeport Police Officers with the help of neighbors arrested a man for breaking into a home on Quinlan Avenue. At 4:17 p.m., officers responded to a reported break in at a home on Quinlan Avenue near Gilman Street. Officers set up a perimeter around the house, as they were told by witnesses that the suspects were still inside the house. Shortly after, another citizen reported that the suspects had fled through the rear running eastbound through neighboring yards, just prior to the officers arriving. 10:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--A homeowner soldering pipes a fire in the walls at 685 West Taft Avenue in the rear of the house. Firefighters quick response kept the fire from becoming a large blaze. The home was also the scene of a garage fire earlier this year. The fire marshal was called to the scene to further investigate.
