12:06am--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Report of a car down the embankment on I-95 northbound near the North Benson Road exit 22.  Unknown entrapment or injuries, first responders on the way.  Extrication not needed.  One on the way to the hospital, no word on the injuries. 9:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police on patrol on Maplewood Avenue heard shots fired and saw a silver or gray Dodge Durango speed off.  Police found the victim on Olive and Street a block away from the homicide there a few weeks back.  The man was shot in the upper arm.    I was able to hear a witness tell officers the suspect was wearing a mask.  Detectives and police are investigating. 7:45pm--A police pursuit starting on Main Street near CVS and Subway ends after the driver goes down a one way street near  Rocton and Wayne Street. One of the suspects had a gun in their waistband. Fishing Restrictions Eased, Shell Fishing Restrictions Remain in Place (Bridgeport, Sept. 12. 2014) – After a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter flyover, the state scaled back fishing restrictions after water runoff from a massive fire Thursday left a  reddish purple film in the water. Fishing along the Bridgeport shoreline from the Fairfield border to Pleasure Beach remains banned. Recreational and commercial fishing in allowed in open water. Originally, the ban spanned from Norwalk to Milford. The ban has been lifted in the other towns. Shell fishing remains banned from Fairfield to the Housatonic River. The state DEEP and U. S. Bridgeport Firefighters Battle Massive Blaze

#Bridgeport, CT -- Sept. 11, 2014 - A massive, four-alarm blaze burned for hours and destroyed two buildings Thursday evening.  Firefighters responded to the 2100 block of Seaview Avenue and encountered heavy fire in an industrial building. A thick black smoke plume could be seen for miles into the night.  As the fire burned out of control, nearly every firefighter in the city responded. Incident commanders called the Fairfield and Stratford fire departments for mutual aid. As the fire grew in intensity and spread to a second structure, crews from the Trumbull, Westport and Norwalk departments responded to assist as well.
