#Fairfield Ct--Firefighters battle a boat fire at South Benson Marina.  Mutual aid requested from surrounding towns.  Special thanks to John I at @onlyleone on Twitter for this photo while the family and I were at church today.  I know the heroes at Fairfield Fire Department will have photos later today. 10: 40am--#Milford CT--Firefighters put out a kitchen fire at 18 Live Oaks Road.  The fire started on the stove and extended into the cabinets. Westport Police Pursuit/DUI arrest

Just after midnight on 06/27/2014, Officer Simpson attempted to stop a motor vehicle for speeding.  The vehicle initially stopped, but as Officer Simpson approached, it took off at a high rate of speed, engaging the officer in pursuit. After turning down a dead end street, the operator fled the vehicle and led the officer on a foot chase through a back yard. The suspect was successfully taken into custody after the use of a taser. The suspect was identified as Thomas Patterson, 41, of Weston, CT. Patterson later refused to submit to a breath test. 11:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--Tonight's vehicle fire is a motorcyle fully engulfed in flames at Stratford and Seaview Avenue called in by police.  Firefighters on the way.  The driver is ok. I-95 North 27A Ramp Closed Due To Oil Leak

#cttraffic--I-95 northbound Exit 27A is closed with firefighters on the ramp for an oil spill on the ramp. Initial radio reports said it was southbound but I confirmed it is northbound.   Exit 28 East Main Street is backed up.  Get off at exit 26 and take the side roads if you know them or rely on GPS to get you around.  There is also a tractor trailer stuck on the ramp so expect extended delays.
