Fairfield News: Serious Motorcycle Crash
UPDATE: Police say the motorcycle was driven by Walter Mebane IV, 26, of Stamford and the Ford Escape SUV driven by Marie Staley, 33, of Monroe. 8:11pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating a serious crash between a motorcycle and SUV at Post and Beach Road. The SUV was traveling west on the Post Road and was trying to make a left onto Beach Road. The motorcycle was traveling east on the Post Road when the SUV turned in front of the motorcyclist. The two women in the SUV were not injured. The motorcyclist taken to Bridgeport Hospital in serious condition. Narcotics Arrest
On 04-09-2015 Jonathan Lucky age 28 of Naugatuck CT was arrested following a narcotics investigation into alleged sales of heroin. During the investigation investigators from Stratford PD along with those from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force observed Lucky as he pulled into the parking lot of a Walgreens in Bridgeport. The information developed in the case led investigators to believe that Lucky would be there to conduct a drug transaction. Officers approached Lucky as he sat in his 2010 Jeep Cherokee. As the investigators made contact with him, Lucky attempted to flee, striking a parked vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident. At the time of arrest Lucky was found to be in possession of $1,380 dollars and 1.18 pounds of heroin which was packaged in…
