2:50am--#Stratford CT--In what sounded like roll call on the Stratford Police radio channels turned out to be assignments for officers to report to all Stratford Schools. For the first half hour at least. December 14th marks the anniversary of Sandy Hook. Officers assigned to the schools are there for only the first half hour while students are being dropped off. It is uncertain if the morning shifts will maintain the presence all day or just for parents to see during drop off and pick up.
11:12pm--#Bridgeport CT--Phone report of flames coming out of the windows at the Copa Cobana Cafe on Lexington Avenue were false. Dispatchers were unable to contact the caller on call back. Although the song does say At the Copa Copacabana it is the hottest spot north of Havana......

9:29pm--#Bridgeport CT--An armed robbery occurred on Ashley Street. The victim was described as a passenger in a vehicle who was robbed at gunpoint.
8:28pm--#Bridgeport CT--A pedestrian has been hit by a car at Park Avenue and West Jackson Avenue. The car did stop. First reponders on scene.
Video Report— Northeast Utilities presented five Bridgeport non-profit organizations with more than $1.7 million in tax credits designed to promote construction of low- and fixed-income housing. “Quality affordable housing is such a priority in all cities and this financial assistance is such a boon,” said Mayor Bill Finch. “The non-profits do such important work on very tight budgets. Northeast Utilities’ assistance is greatly appreciated.” Tax credits were awarded to Neighborhood Trust, Inc. ($500,000); Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County ($429,000); Boston Avenue Supportive Housing (Alpha)($205,882); Seymour Hollander Apartments ($500,000), and Mutual Housing of Association ($100,000).
