11pmish--#Bridgeport CT #Fairfield CT--Police from both departments are on scene in Bridgeport in the neighborhood of Ash Street Dewey Street area for two armed robbers. Two are in custody now. I'm rolling back the audio now to find out what was robbed in Fairfield.
Sewage Break Inside Danbury Hospital
#Danbury CT--Working on a tip I contacted George Coli of WVIT who confirmed with Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton that there was a sewage break inside Danbury Hospital. Our sources indicated that their entire Emergency Department along with wings of the Hospital are covered in sewage from a sewage line rupture inside. Fire department hazmat was on scene along with the state's DMAT--Disaster Medical Assistance Team.

As she was pulling into the lot, a fleeing white vehicle nearly hit her cruiser head-on and fled. 7:25pm--#Westport CT--Police are looking Blue Chevy, older model where two women passed two counterfeit bills at a drive thru on Post Road East. If they had hi-def security cameras like they have at Covert Security they would have been able to get a plate number and picture of the ladies!
Homeless man robbed
6:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--A homeless man had his pouch of possession stolen from him while in the parking lot of Friendly's on upper Main Street. The suspect fled in a gold four door car. He did get a plate number. Police investigating.
