DJ Charged With Threatening at O’Shea
#Bridgeport CT -- April 29, 2013) – A disc jockey from Waterbury was cited for threatening after an encounter at a Black Rock bar. Police were called to O’Shea, 2770 Fairfield Ave., Sunday at 1:48 a.m. on a complaint from the owner that a DJ he hired had threatened him. According to the owner, he hired Sheila Lawrence, 46, for the night but had specifically instructed her not to play rap music from her playlist. The last song she played was a rap song, so the owner instructed his staff to turn up the lights and close the bar. That sparked an argument in which Lawrence allegedly threatened to shoot the owner.
