Structure Fire
The Bridgeport Fire Department said in a statement that At approximately 7:40 pm, they responded to the 1600 block of North Avenue to report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, units locate fire on the second and third floor which was brought under control within 30 minutes. There are no reported injuries, and the American Red Cross is assisting with the relocation of 5 adults and 1 dog. The Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
